A glimpse of what we can offer...

Luxury Self Catering & Bed and Breakfast accommodation in
Port Eynon, The Gower Peninsula.

Croft Acre Holiday Cottages are a group of privately owned, outstandingly well-presented properties, located near the sea front in Port Eynon.

We are a small team whose ethos is that professional service and attention to detail, in fantastic surroundings, make a holiday to remember. We live on site and so are always on hand to give advice or to address a problem in the event that one should occur. Some of our properties have been graded and attained 5*, whilst we believe that the others are of the same standard.

In total we can accommodate 63 people, but we cater for small groups too, taking 2 people per room in the bed and breakfast, 5 people in Cherry Tree Cottage, 8 people per cottage in Croft Acre or for a real family get together; 12 people in Carreglwyd Farmhouse.

The Area
The seaside village of Port Eynon is located in the south-west part of The Gower Peninsula, which was designated as the first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the UK.  The village is popular with visitors and locals alike, due to its easy access onto the blue-flag beach.

Walkers are most definitely in their element, with coastal paths offering spectacular views of the South Gower coastline and if you like to explore, and discover a bit of history then the remains of The Salthouse (used to extract salt from sea water) and Culver Hole (an unconfirmed mystery as to what its actual use was, but its location has given rise to speculation of smuggling or use as a pigeon house) are well worth a visit.

There are two nature reserves in Port Eynon; Port Eynon Point and Sedgers Bank which lies to the West of The Salthouse and is mainly beneath the high tide mark.

A pub, restaurant, fish and chip shop and the beach are all within 2 minutes walk. Please note that only Orange and T-mobile networks work in Port Eynon village, but there is a pay phone by the roundabout, next to the shops on the sea front.

We can accept payments by all major credit and debit cards via the phone. Credit cards will incur an additional 2% charge.
